中国核学会成立于1980年，是由“两弹一星”功勋科学家发起的全国性学术非营利组织，隶属于中国科学技术协会，受民政部监管。学会致力于推动核科学技术的普及与发展。近年来，近距离治疗、放疗机器人及人工智能/放疗云技术发展迅速，质子、重离子等高端设备正从研发向临床应用推广。

2020年9月19日，依托北京大学第三医院，中国核学会成立了“近距离治疗与智慧放疗分会”。分会将以学术为导向，推动核技术应用，结合人工智能、大数据等前沿技术，搭建创新服务平台，构建从基层到高端医疗机构的全产业链生态，致力于成为行业引领者。

The Chinese Nuclear Society was established in 1980 by scientists who were key contributors to the "Two Bombs, One Satellite" project. It is a national, academic, non-profit organization under the China Association for Science and Technology and is regulated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The Society is dedicated to promoting the popularization and development of nuclear science and technology. In recent years, brachytherapy, radiotherapy robotics, and artificial intelligence/radiotherapy cloud technologies have developed rapidly. Advanced equipment such as proton and heavy ion therapy systems are transitioning from research and development to clinical application.

On September 19, 2020, relying on Peking University Third Hospital, the Chinese Nuclear Society established the "Brachytherapy and Intelligent Radiotherapy Division." Guided by academic principles, the Division aims to promote the application of nuclear technology, integrate cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, build an innovative service platform, and establish a full-industry-chain ecosystem ranging from primary healthcare to high-level medical institutions, striving to become an industry leader.
